Rapidly successive changes, job insecurity, being reachable everywhere, increasing workload, erode the vitality of employees and their organizations. People with a high sense of responsibility and / or involvement have greater health riscs, because they are not able to say no.
Many of their colleagues choose an attitude, which is specifically aimed to survive. They are hardly more to appeal their actual potential. Fortunately the need for regular recovery during work, but also in private time, has been recognized increasingly.
Several large organizations have already embedded Vitality as KPI in their organizations. Integral vitality management or attention to vitality thus no longer are seen as an unnecessary luxury for their staff.

The WHO predicts that by 2020 depression will be one of the major causes of incapacity for work.
