With the StressChecker you can simply and objectively determine the importance of stress in your life. StressChecker also helps you to determine the positive impact of the different relaxation exercises. Before taking part in amateur sports or fitness training, people can use the StressChecker to assess their ability to cope with exertion and their ability to recover. This enables them to avoid the risk of undertraining or overtraining and sustaining unnecessary injuries.
With the BreathCoach you learn the best way of breathing whilst at rest. This provides an effective weapon to combat stress in any circumstances. This product will be available for customers in the last quarter of this year.

How do they work?
The StressChecker and BreathCoach consist of several computer programmes on CD-Rom and a heart monitor (an ear clip with sensors, a small signal box and a retractable USB connection cable).
The sensors in the ear clip measure the blood flow in the ear, which is driven by the heartbeat, and the signalbox transfers this information to your computer sofware.
The StressChecker software then calculates if, and in what way, stress is currently being experienced. The results of the test are indicated both right and left in the graph, as a ‘Relaxation Index Figure’. The StressChecker allows the user to determine what causes stress or what can help him to relax. The BreathCoach software trains the user to breath in a steady rhythm, by following the rhythm of a humming sound for 10 minutes. Following this the user checks the impact of the excercise on their stress level.
The software for both products uses the same heart monitor. They can be used seperately or in conjunction with each other for stress management.
The products can be tailormade to client specifications.
